"I'm really not comfortable being photographed..."
Most of my clients tell me the same thing! That's exactly why we start with conversation, not cameras. Within about 15 minutes, you'll forget we're even taking photos—it feels more like sharing your story with someone who genuinely wants to hear it.
"How do I know if the photos will actually look like me?"
You'll see them as we go, and we can adjust anything that doesn't feel right in the moment. No surprises, no crossing fingers for weeks. My goal is helping you see yourself the way others already do—authentic and confident.
"I don't know how to pose—will you guide me?"
Here's the beautiful thing: we don't want you to pose! Think of it as a networking conversation where someone occasionally captures your natural expressions. Your genuine moments are always more powerful than any forced position.
"What should I wear?"
I'll send you a thoughtful style guide after we book, but the most important thing is wearing something that makes you feel like yourself. That confidence shows up in every image. Generally, solid colors work beautifully—they keep the focus on your authentic expressions.
"How long does the whole process take?"
Our discovery conversation: 20-30 minutes. Your session: 1-3 hours depending on your package. Final images: about a week (or sooner if you need them urgently—just let me know and we can arrange that).
"What if I don't like the photos?"
In all my years doing this, it hasn't happened yet—but if for any reason you're not happy, we'll work together to make it right. Your satisfaction and feeling genuinely seen is what matters most to me.
"Can I extend my session if I'm enjoying it?"
Absolutely! If you're feeling great and want to capture more, we can extend your time. I'll let you know the additional investment right then—no surprises.
"Can I get more edited photos than what's included?"
Of course! If you fall in love with more images than your package includes, we can add them. You'll know exactly what the additional investment would be.
"Do you provide hair and makeup services?"
Yes, I work with wonderful stylists who can help you feel your absolute best. This is available as an add-on service, and I'm happy to discuss what would work best for your vision.
"How will I know where to go and about parking?"
Don't worry about the logistics—I'll send you all the details you need, including location, parking information, and what to expect. My system keeps you informed every step of the way so you can focus on feeling excited about your session.
"What if I need to cancel?"
Life happens, and I understand that. If you need to cancel, there's a 50% fee to cover studio costs and scheduling—this helps me honor commitments to my team and other clients.
"Can I reschedule if something comes up?"
Absolutely! Just let me know 48 hours ahead and we can find a new time that works better. After that timeframe, there's a 50% rescheduling fee due to studio commitments, but we'll definitely work together to find a solution.
